0% it feels like right now,
and I am stumped, puzzled, confused
as to why I simply do not have
the energy to function.

I feel so sluggish, so done
with moving and talking!
Please make me into a statue,
preferably one who lies in a bed
and has access to a straw
to sip teas and chai lattes.

What caused this? Where did
it sprout from, to wrap around
my frame, withering these limbs
to fragile bone, ready to break
at the merest push back.

I am parched for sparks,
running on empty, about
to collapse into a heap of
broken sleep, but out here in
the real world where I sit
at a desk, I must wait till home.
