Trapped in a Sonic the Hedgehog Zone

Which one is this? Music plant? Green
Hill? Oh no, listen to that twinkle, those
serene tones of chilled out music
designed to keep you as calm as an
ironing board…

I am in a Labyrinth Zone or possibly,
if this scenario IS the worst case of all,
stage three of Scrap Brain and it has
been so long that the tune no longer
sits well within my brain.

I am not a blue hedgehog rolling around
at the speed of sound, though I do have
places to go and I do need to follow my
way home, and so I must get into this
mindset, this grind to best my surrounding.

I can jump about three inches, whereas
I am going up against a normally shuffling
mammal who can jump 5 times his height
and run, and looks massive, if these walls
are anything to go by.

How am I supposed to get past these traps
with no circular attack move? Maybe
sneaking past, and trying to dismantle them
with my non existent mechanical engineering
expertise? Yeah right, I am not Robotnik.

OK. New plan, panic. That is right,
I am going to stand here and have a nice little
panic, a fractious freak out full of fear and
frowning, so hopefully once that has completed
I am focus again on my future.

WOWWOAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!
DBLAAARGGGHGHEHEHGHH!!!!
MMMMMMIIIIIDDDDMDMMMMDD!
OOOOONNNNNRRRFGMMMMMEE!
Catastrophe!

Done. Now time to lock in, to ready the waves
and steady the land, I am going to run, just
run, just speed as if I were a blue blur
through all obstacles in my path
without looking back

Either I win, or I fail, there is no other
option, and I am that serene I mentioned earlier,
I am ready for whatever this plan brings.
For I am Veeg the Human, and while not a gaming
mascot, I was born to videogame!
