Those Robots

They have been watching us
this whole time, from the comfort
of their ivory wall sockets,
not actual ivory but expensive enough
to be gilded,
the hat I wear is just enough to blank
all of my mind,
from their evil searches!
WHERE IS YOUR WARRANTS?!
I clasp hand over mouth,
slink backwards into cushion and
blanket,
I am not hiding, I am pragmatic,
I am cloaked from suspicion
for if their beady diodes ever
rested upon me I should be executed!
They walk among all of us,
wearing skin masks and
ill fitting suits they pretend,
but I have seen their truths and
only through wile and luck have
I kept ahead of such evil computational.
My time alive is limited,
for I must eventually interact or leave
this blocked out domicile,
perhaps food or nutrition shall be
my downfall in face of near constant
automaton,
but do they expect me fightless?
Hah! I shall be worthy adversarial
to my bitter ends.
