A Pome a Day for a Year

My favourite colour of post it is the pink,
but I am very partial to the orange. 
Yellow, sadly, bit too ubiquitous. 
Light blue is glorious but so infrequent. 

The offices I stroll past are heaven
for folks wishing to note down importance
on the back of sticky paper.

But these choices of what to save
are a tad shocking. Passwords??

“Hello mr Hackerman, please access my digital homestead!”
“Thank you, Barnaby from accounting, your money belongs to me!”
“Oh no! How could this happen?”

I shake my head sadly, blotting those
safety keywords from my vision like
some kind of scanner darkly. 

I do not wish to know your special characters!
I have my own to care for and hold
just below the membrane of my memories, 
a murky world of integers and typography 
floating into correct combinations.
