sub clauses and exceptions

we are being super honest,

so that I can cross reference
my work and make sure that if

I am breaking those rules,
that I at least,
hopefully,
am doing so in a smart,
or interesting,
or new,
or old but proven,
or weird but fun,
kind of way!
