All hexagon, not pentagon,
squashed together, friends forever,
honey making, hive shaking,
rumble tumble, workers jumble,
dancing group, fuzzy troupe,
playing funny stunning bee music.

Drones smile, all the while,
the hive rocks, ignoring clocks,
for hours and hours, visiting flowers,
making new sugar, exalting their leader,
preening her wings, Queenie still sings,
