A Pome a Day for a Year

Oi, there’s a load of bottles here,
just a ton of brown and green and clear glass
soldiers propping up an army of drunks.

The noise and stench coming out of that alley
is pretty wild. I think a new jungle has formed
between the bins and the pallets.

They sure do seem to be having a good time,
despite the vomiting and the weeing on the floor,
someone get them a toilet, please!

I suppose the floor is nature’s toilet.
I would not want to be the guy cleaning up after that!
That wall’s seen better days.
