A Pome a Day for a Year

A lump on sofa,
checking out stuff that encircles my zone,
oh why is that there?

I am not the guy who makes these programs
specially not something like a CMS.
I do like using it though,
pretty simple to add pomes to cyberspace.

Why do they call it cyberspace?
Why not digitalcosmos.
Or electricaluniverse.
Or galaxyempty?

Anyway, the reason for the title,
this post, this page, this little ditty,
before it began to take shape on the page
had the direct link of 1711.

But when I save them for publishing
it changes from the default to the title.

My choices overwrite the default
and it is lost forever to time.

Today is the first time I spotted it.
My initial knowledge gain
led me to think of all those lost digits.
There are not 1711 posts and pages on this site,
so these names must be random,
and cannot be sequential.

We will never discover those lost names,
those original monikers vanished
to my own ignorance.

Pouring one out for the lost souls.
